How to choose a filling machine
The machine follows the product. Work through these five questions and the correct pump type, model and configuration follow from them.
Step 1 — Product viscosity and particles
This single factor decides the pump type more than any other.

Step 2 — Fill volume per container
Fill volume selects the rotor pump size (LX-9 / LX-18 / LX-36 / LX-60) and therefore the machine model. See the specification table for the full GTX range from 5 ml to 300,000 ml.
Step 3 — Required output
Containers per hour decides the number of filling heads and the automation level: semi-automatic four-head, automatic single-head or multi-head, or eight-head automatic with an independent servo on every head.
Step 4 — Container and cap
Container type (bottle, jar, pouch, can, drum), dimensions and cap style determine the filling station geometry, the filling valve type — blow-spray, full-immersion or sauce cut-off valve — and whether capping, labelling and coding stations are needed downstream.
Step 5 — Hygiene, materials and utilities
- CIP requirement: dairy, beverage and aseptic-adjacent lines should specify CIP-capable construction.
- Wetted materials: 304 or 316L stainless steel according to product corrosivity and hygiene standard.
- Power supply: voltage and phase for the destination country.
- Hopper type: standard, agitated, heated or square-mouth according to product behaviour.
